Enjoy real gourmet beef meatballs from Peter Bouchier at Co-Lab Pantry. These tasty balls are made from grass fed beef and lightly seasoned with herbs. All you need to do is cook them up at home or pop them in the freezer to enjoy later. Peter Bouchier only uses the highest quality grass fed beef from Victoria and NSW to make these meatballs, resulting in a flavoursome meatball with less fat. Approximately 480g (12 meatballs) per tray. This is a fresh product and should be consumed within 2-3 days.

If you’re looking for chicken meatballs, try these ones from Foxes Den instead. Or alternatively, pork & veal meatballs here.

How to make meatballs?

Meatballs are made by combining minced meat with breadcrumbs, egg, herbs and even grated vegetables. You can use any meat you like or even combine different meats like beef and pork for example. Grated onion, carrot and zucchini are popular vegetables to add to your balls if you’re looking to get in some more nutrients too. If you make your own meatballs, try to ensure the sizes are all the same so they cook evenly.

How to cook meatballs?

You can pan-fry your meatballs, deep-fry them, or cook them in the oven. If you’re looking to enjoy your meatballs just as they are or with some sides, try pan-frying them in some olive oil over a medium-high heat. Instead, if you’re making spaghetti with meatballs, we like to bake them in the oven first for 35-45 minutes at 180C before finishing them off in your sugo in a pan.

What to serve with meatballs?

Meatballs are delicious on their own and served with some vegetables like roasted potatoes, or a fresh green salad. We like to indulge ourselves and add them to a rich tomato sugo and serve with pasta, polenta or mashed potatoes.
